Anna Zakowicz

Anna Zakowicz is the Deputy Bureau Chief and Program Director at the AIDS Healthcare Europe (AHF Europe); where she works on implementation of patient centered care for different populations affected by HIV in Europe, including Eastern Europe. She serves on the board of the Medicine Patent Pool and AIDS Fond.

 

Anna advocates for the democratization of testing and increasing access to quality HIV treatment and care in Eastern Europe. With a background in humanities and public health, Anna promotes building the capacity of community based organisations, and task shifting to strengthen human resources in health.
