Tudor Kovacs’s career has been focused on education, empowerment and the rights and the health of the LGBTQI community. He now works as a Capacity Building Officer for the International Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex Youth and Student Organisation (IGLYO). Up until the end of 2014, he managed the operations of the umbrella organisation ECOM (Eurasian Coalition on Male Health), as its Executive Director, working in advocacy and capacity building around HIV for MSM (men having sex with men) and Trans organizations in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Prior to this, he worked at Population Services International (PSI) in Romania, where he led the HIV prevention and support program for men who have sex with men (MSM). During this time, he also served on the Steering Committee of the Global Forum on MSM and HIV, participating in global level advocacy and capacity building for MSM worldwide.
