European Testing Week: 23-30 November 2018

European Testing Week is an international campaign that encourages partner organisations—in community, health care and policy institutions-- throughout Europe to unite for one week to increase testing efforts and promote awareness on the benefits of earlier hepatitis and HIV testing. This initiative has progressed since its start in 2013 and has grown to be a widely recognised international event with hundreds of organisations participating every year. Each organisation volunteers their own time to organise their Testing Week activities and create incredible displays of a united effort to increase testing awareness at all organisational levels.

Now in its sixth year and the fourth-time hepatitis testing has been included, European Testing Week will take place 23-30 November 2018.

The Spring European Hepatitis-HIV Testing Week Pilot

The European Liver Patients' Association (ELPA), in collaboration with the INTEGRATE Joint Action, launched a pilot campaign: Spring European Hepatitis-HIV Testing Week 2018 which took place on 18- 25 May 2018. This pilot aimed to promote wide-scale testing and related activities and sought to complement the November campaign. This pilot focused on identifying barriers that ETW participants experience in implementing integrated testing in different settings across Europe.

Be sure to check back on our website for results from the Spring ETW pilot evaluation!
